The Pregnancy Resource Center of the Poconos is preparing for their 2022 Walk for life, this year’s theme being Luke 4:18, “Proclaiming Liberty to the Captives.”
STROUDSBURG, PA | On Saturday, October 1, 2022, the Pregnancy Resource Center (PRC) of the Poconos will hold its annual Walk For Life. WATCH VIDEO.
The theme of this year’s walk is proclaiming Liberty to the Captives, Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,” Luke 4:18.
This walk is set for rain or shine. Participants will meet at 8:30 AM for registration and breakfast at Greater Shiloh Church, then at 9:00 AM, the walk will begin. Starting at the Greater Shiloh Church North Campus on Ann Street, this 1-mile walk will take participants throughout downtown Stroudsburg, circling the courthouse, making a pit stop at the PRC office, and returning to the church campus. Parking is available at the Greater Shiloh Church, with additional Parking at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on N. 9th St. in Stroudsburg.

Every cent donated helps the PRC of the Poconos to continue its mission of providing free and confidential services to its clients. Services provided include pregnancy tests, limited obstetrical ultrasounds, options counseling, prenatal and parenting education and counseling, abstinence outreach to local public schools and youth groups, fatherhood initiative program, adoption information and referrals, and referrals for medical and community services, maternity and baby items, and more.
