This Friday, join in celebrating Harley-Davidson’s grand re-opening, then come back and enjoy their big bash over the weekend.
On Friday, July 8, the Pocono Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon “chain” cutting ceremony and grand re-opening celebration for the Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson. The celebration will run from 10:30 am – 11:30 am, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:00 am. the event will take place at the Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson’s Tannersville location. This event is open to the public. Attendees are invited to meet the owners, check out the facility, learn about their products, and network with other community members during this free event.
As of March 29, 2022, Harley-Davidson is under new ownership, joining forces with the American Road Group alongside other dealerships, including Orlando Harley-Davidson® (Orlando, FL), Laconia Harley-Davidson® (Meredith, NH), and Wildcat Harley-Davidson® (London, KY).
This weekend, after Friday’s opening, the Pocono Mountain Harley-Davidson will be hosting its Grand Re-Opening Bash to celebrate the launch. Each day attendees can enjoy food trucks, vendors, demo rides, live music, giveaways, and more. Saturday will include live performances by Electric Shadows & Dirty Blond. Sunday will include live music by Back in Black: AC/DC Tribute, set to perform from 12 pm- 3 pm.
Food and drink vendors include Ferrara’s Family Concessions, Cafe Hugo, Bumpy’s Bakery, Sherri’s, Crab Cakes, Caribbean Islands Cuisine, Lenwood BBQ, Half Barrel Brewery, and Insurrection Distillery. Other vendors include Plex Audio, Pinstriping by AD, Bonehead Beard Care, Stick it to ‘Em, Livin Hella Good, Studio 1 Thrift, Patch Sewing by PJV Novelties, Matador Cigars, Balch Racing, Haus of Heimbach, Wurth USA, Pure Romance by Joann, Lilla Rose Hair Accessories & Jewelry, JS Amazing Leggings, Lehigh Valley Community Benefit, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, LAMA Poconos, Biker’s Against Cop Killers, and more.
Only motorcycles are permitted to park in the primary dealer parking lot. Other attendees can park behind the dealership and Tandoor Palace, using grass and lots. There will be traffic control helping at the intersection of Route 715 and Hill Motor Lodge Road. Attendees are not permitted to park in front of hotel rooms. Those spots are reserved for hotel customers.
