Habitat For Humanity Benefit Offers New Appliances At Steep Discounts

On Saturday, April 30th, the Monroe County Habitat for Humanity will be hosting a Warehouse Sale from 8 AM to 3 PM at their Tobyhanna location.

Lowes has donated over $350,000 worth of brand new merchandise to the Monroe County Habitat for Humanity. Items include refrigerators, stoves, bathtubs, Grills, outdoor tables, water heaters, washers and dryers, flooring, siding, outdoor chairs, etc. In turn, these items are available at a staggering 40% discount, with proceeds helping Habitat for Humanity continue its mission to help everyone in Monroe County have a safe and decent place to live.

According to their website, Monroe County Habitat for Humanity’s mission is” Seeking to put God’s love into action. Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Monroe County Habitat for Humanity’s main focus for 2022 is Home Preservation. This program allows homeowners affected by low income, old age, or disability to make necessary repairs on their homes. When these critical repairs are not made, homes can potentially become condemned. There is a great need for these types of repairs in our county.”
