Local Business Prepares For 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Local businesses and individuals are rallying, raising money to purchase Thanksgiving meals for families in the area for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

Monroe County, PA | From now until November 11, donations are being accepted for the 2nd annual Kindness Goes Full Circle Fundraiser. The purpose of the fundraiser is to purchase Thanksgiving meals for families in the area. The meals will be distributed from Christain Life Assembly church in Stroudsburg on Tuesday, November 15.

Brian Davis, the owner of full circle removals, started this fundraiser last year’s Thanksgiving season. “I like to give back. I mean we’ve been blessed, we have businesses in Monroe county and also Northampton county, and the community has supported us so much that it feels amazing to be able to support the community also,” said Davis. “In my teenage years, I grew up in an Italian household so you show your love with food so I figure this will be a great event to show the love back to the community, to be able to donate some meals, to be able to help out where you can.” WATCH INTERVIEW.

Last year, 200 families received a Thanksgiving meal through the fundraiser. Aiming for 300 this year, Full Circle has once again teamed up with Christian Life Assembly Church to handle donations and meal distribution.
