BMW and European car enthusiasts can experience the excitement of a roll race competition, drifting showcase, and several road course events going on this weekend.
MPact East returns to Pocono Raceway on Saturday, August 6. Created by an enthusiast for enthusiasts with the ultimate goal of bringing the east coast an event offering more than standard “car shows.”
MPACT offers numerous activities, including:
NASA HPDE Presented by TITAN 7
Drivers are granted access to drive their own cars on the track in a safe and controlled environment. The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) offers four classes ranging from beginner (no track experience needed) to expert levels. NASA will provide beginners with professional in-car instructors to guide them around the track. Spacing is limited to the first 100 registered vehicles.
1800′ Side by Side Roll Racing MPH Challenge
Guests can participate in side-by-side action on Nascar’s longest straightaway (2300′). Starting from a 40 mph or 60 mph roll, allowing vehicles to hit triple-digit trap speeds before entering the braking zone, followed by a portion of the north road course to cool down. MPH is recorded and displayed live during the event. Space is limited to the first 100 registered.
Judged Car Show
BMW, European, exotics, and other performance-based machines will compete for multiple awards and a private photo session after the award ceremony. Classes will be announced before the event based on preregistration.
Burnout Contest
If the tire smoke from the drifting is not enough, the crowd will judge a burnout competition on a large skid pad that lets participants put out a little extra smoke. Guests can register at the MPACT main tent once inside the event.

Vendor Showcase
There will be an assortment of Premium Vendor offerings performance parts, wheels and tires, accessories, displays, demonstrations, service/tuning options, specialty vehicles, ride-a-longs, contests, and much more.
The event runs from 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday, with a free bonus day of racing beginning at 10 am on Sunday. Tickets are available online or at the venue. General admission is $25 but does not include premium events.
