PennDOT: Monroe County Road Work This Week 8-8

According to PennDOT, drivers in Monroe County can expect upcoming work on state roads this week.   

On August 8, the PennDOT Maintenance Forces will conduct a bridge repair on PA 191 between PA 390 and County Line in Barrett Township. Restrictions will be in effect from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Due to lane restrictions, drivers should expect delays. PennDOT urges drivers to use caution while driving through the work zone. The Maintenance Forces expect to complete work on August 12 but could be delayed in the event of rain. 

On August 8, the PennDOT Maintenance Forces will conduct Drainage work on Golden Slipper between Neola Road and PA 611 in Jackson Township. Restrictions will be in effect from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM. The Maintenance Forces expect to complete work on August 12 but could be delayed in the event of rain.

On August 11, the PennDOT Maintenance Forces will conduct Milling and Paving on Cherry Valley Road between Bossardsville Road and Business Route 209 in Stroud Township. Restrictions will be in effect from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Due to lane restrictions, drivers should expect delays. PennDOT urges drivers to use caution while driving through the work zone. The Maintenance Forces expect to complete work on August 12 but could be delayed in the event of rain. 

On August 8, the PennDOT Maintenance Forces will conduct Pothole Patching on PA 940 between Locust Ridge Road and Carbon County Line in Tobyhanna Township. The Maintenance Forces expect to complete work on August 10 but could be delayed in the event of rain. 

On August 11, the PennDOT Maintenance Forces will conduct Pothole Patching on PA 115 between PA 940 and Luzerne County Line in Tobyhanna Township. Restrictions will be in effect from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM. Due to lane restrictions, drivers should expect delays. PennDOT urges drivers to use caution while driving through the work zone. The Maintenance Forces expect to complete work on August 12 but could be delayed in the event of rain.

On August 5, a PennDOT Contractor will conduct construction on Interstate 80 West between Exit 293 (I-380) and Exit 298 (Scotrun) in Pocono Township. Due to lane restrictions, Interstate 80 West will be in single-lane conditions from Friday at 9 PM to Monday at 5 AM, drivers should expect delays. PennDOT urges drivers to use caution while driving through the work zone. The PennDOT Contractor expects to complete work on August 8.

On August 8, a PennDOT Contractor will conduct construction on Interstate 80 between Exit 298 (Scotrun) and Exit 293 (I-380) in Pocono Township. Drivers should expect delays and Westbound lane restrictions from 06:00 AM To 07:00 PM. PennDOT urges drivers to use caution while driving through the work zone. The PennDOT Contractor expects to complete work on August 10.
