The Greater Shiloh Church of Stroudsburg will hold its 2022 Hope Fest this weekend.
The Greater Shiloh Church of Stroudsburg has hosted the Hope Fest for around five years. Approximately two hundred people are expected to attend this year’s celebration of hope and fellowship. The two-day event kicks off with a community fun day on Saturday, July 16.
Community members are invited to gather at the church and enjoy food, fellowship, fun, music, face painting, games for kids, and giveaways for adults. It will begin at 3 pm. Additionally, and in keeping with the theme of serving others, the Greater Shiloh Church will also hold a school supply distribution drive which will provide bookbags filled with school supplies to children in need.
The festivities will continue on Sunday, July 17. Starting at 10:30 am, the Greater Shiloh Church’s worship team will perform an Outdoor Worship Service. The community is encouraged to join the church in this celebration of hope.
“We want to be a blessing for the community,” said Gwendolyn Harris, Administrative Lead/Executive Assistant at the Greater Shiloh Church. “We want to extend hope. The world has been going through a dark time, so we want to spread hope and have some fun!”
In the event of rain, the Greater Shiloh Church of Stroudsburg’s Hope Fest will be rescheduled for the following weekend, July 23 and 24.
