Registration has officially opened for Monroe County Habitat for Humanity’s (MCHFH) annual golf tournament, which will occur later this month.
EAST STROUDSBURG | On September 28, Habitat for Humanity will host its 25th annual golf outing and most significant fundraiser of the year. The outing will be held at Great Bear Golf Club in East Stroudsburg. The
registration deadline for golf and sponsorships is Wednesday, September 21.
The event will feature a multitude of amazing prizes, including a grand Hole-in-One prize of a car donated by Abeloff Buick GMC and other prizes for all Par 3s.
The individual entry fee is $125 (or $500 for a foursome). It includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, a buffet dinner, trophies, awards, and prizes. Registration opens at 11:30 AM, followed by a shotgun start at 1 PM, and concludes with dinner at 6.
The event is still accepting sponsors for the outing. A Platinum Sponsorship ($1,100) includes golf for 8, a reserved table and recognition of your company at dinner, and a sign on the green of your choice. Gold Sponsorship ($700) includes golf for 4, a sign on the green of your choice, and recognition of your company at dinner. Silver sponsors ($375) receive golf for 2, as well as hole signage and dinner recognition. Hole sponsorships can be purchased for $150, and a sign will be placed on the green of your choice.
According to Kemmerer, the annual golf outing has raised more than $183,000 in the last 24 years. “This allows us to realize our vision of every person in Monroe County having a safe, decent place to live,” said Kemmerer. “We can only continue to build better lives for our Monroe County families in need with this kind of community support.”
