Coming to Mount Pocono is a service designed to help you breathe easier, make your skin look better, and elevate your mind and spirit, the best part is, all you have to do is relax.
On Thursday, May 26th, Crystal Garden will be introducing its newest expansion, the Salt Cave. The opening is between 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM, with the ribbon-cutting planned for 6:00 PM. There will also be food and drinks served at the opening event, giveaways, and a look at the salt room!
Initially opening in October 2019, Crystal Garden is a place for For Your Mind. Body & Spirit. It regularly hosts yoga classes, reiki energy healing, therapeutic sound messages, custom meditations, inspirational workshops, and more with its newest addition, salt cave sessions.
According to their website, the premise of salt therapy is that salt can help balance out the ions in our bodies in their most basic form, leading to both physical and spiritual benefits. The negative ions in salt particles in the salt cave help purify the air, which helps increase your lung capacity. If you have any respiratory illnesses, this can be very beneficial. Salt has upwards of 84 minerals that the skin will absorb in the salt cave. One of the benefits of salt, as opposed to mineral salts, is that it helps the skin attract moisture. Forty-five minutes inside a salt cave is roughly the same as spending two days at the beach. According to salt-cave experts, with the same effect as spending time on the beach, the negative ions in the air help boost your mood and energy levels. So if you are stressed or feeling anxious, the salt cave is the remedy you have been seeking.
Diana Iriarte, the shop owner, looks forward to meeting new people. “Feel free to call or stop by any time,” said Diana.
Crystal Gardens is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM, Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM, and closed Tuesdays.
