The Gamut of Art

The Gamut Art Gallery in Stroudsburg, PA, held an Artists’ Reception on Saturday, May 7th, featuring the work of Linda George, Laura Lippay, Albert Shivers Bourges, The Pocono Photo Club, and Thomas Dillon. The eclectic collections of images created by the artists on display blended well with the diversified assembly of intriguingly obscure objects the gallery has become well known for.

A sizable gathering of art lovers filled the venue with each individual finding the magnificence of themselves within each item they encountered. Lively conversations filled the air as each excited and thoughtful utterance grew upon the other until a crescendo of something otherworldly manifested itself. It is recommended by this writer to visit the venue to experience all they have to offer. The Exhibition at The Gamut Art Gallery in Stroudsburg, PA, will continue to be on display until July 24th and the reception was part of the First Saturday Art Walk of the 2022 season that occurs the first Saturday of every month from April to October in galleries throughout the borough of Stroudsburg, PA.

The Gamut Art Gallery is located on 7th Street and originated from a personal desire to discover the beautiful and unusual while sharing art, its history, and the “experience of unearthing” with all who enter their gallery. According to the gallery’s owners Jim and Mary Evanisko, the discovery of art will always be an adventure. And to enhance that sense of wonder, they have put together an eclectic mix of selected antiques, crafts, contemporary art, and sculptures, along with one-of-a-kind and unusual items spanning the early 1890s to the present day. You can learn more information about the Gamut Gallery, which includes visiting hours and how to purchase each item by visiting their website at www.gamutartgallery.com.
