Two Accomplishes In TLC Park Shooting Apprehended By Police

On Thursday, Pocono Township Police identified and arrested two individuals associated with the shooter in the TLC park shooting case in early June.

The associates have been identified as Javier D. Giraldo Jr. of East Stroudsburg and Alexander Santos, also from East Stroudsburg. These two men have been charged as accomplices in the shooting.

According to the Pocono Township Police Department, on June 6, 2022, at approximately 19:12 hours, Pocono Township Police responded to TLC park for a report of shots fired. Approximately 20 to 25 people were at the park, and most were playing basketball when a fight started. This fight led to a single shooter firing rounds from a handgun that disbursed the crowd. The shooter then fired additional shots that struck one male in the back as he was running away.

The victim was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. As of this time, the shooter has still not been identified. The shooter appears to be a light-skinned black or Hispanic male that was with three other black or Hispanic males. The group fled the scene in a Dodge Ram pick-up truck.
