Who Takes Home the Hardware? Boston Celtics Face the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Championship.

The NBA Finals kick off on Thursday, June 2nd, with the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. Tip-off starts at 9:00 PM EST with the third seed Warriors beating out the second seed Celtics for home-court advantage with a better regular-season record of 53-29.

The Golden State Warriors have found themselves back in the NBA Finals for the sixth time in the last eight seasons after the Warriors faced many struggles after their loss to the Toronto Raptors in the 2018-2019 Finals. The Warriors fell to a gruesome 15-50 record in 2019-2020 and failed to qualify for the playoffs. They finished with a 39-33 regular-season record but failed to win in the Play-In Tournament during the 2020-2021 season.

The Boston Celtics conquered the odds, defeating each of the three teams that have taken the Celtics out of the Playoffs in the last three years. With wins against the Brooklyn Nets, Milwaukee Bucks, and the Miami Heat, the Boston Celtics have found themselves in the NBA Finals for the first time since the 2009-2010 season.

Can Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors win their 7th NBA title? Or will the likes of Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics finish strong and take home the championship?
