Stroud Area Regional Police Dept. (SARP) released the names of three suspects involved in an attempted homicide in Stroudsburg approximately two weeks ago. Kylan Kymani Coombs, 23, Alexandra Maria Hidalgo, 26, and Williams Laguerre Derosier, 29, all of Stroudsburg, have each been charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors stemming from a bar fight that nearly turned deadly on August 7, 2022.
An investigation by SARP revealed that Derosier, Coombs, and Hidalgo were at a bar on Main Street at approximately 1:30 am when Coombs and Derosier argued with another male named Dyshawn Mack over a past incident. The altercation was broken up by security staff and bystanders after becoming physical. After being removed from the premises, Derosier, Coombs, and Hidalgo were traveling in a blue and silver pickup truck when the three observed Mack walking on the sidewalk with a group of friends. Coombs allegedly fired one shot from a rifle out of the truck’s passenger side window towards Mack, striking a parked car before fleeing the area. SARPD Detectives identified the vehicle and suspects after interviewing multiple eyewitnesses and reviewing surveillance videos. Arrest warrants were issued for all three suspects on August 19, 2022.
Kylan Kymani Coombs is charged with Attempted Criminal Homicide, Conspiracy to commit Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy to commit Aggravated Assault, Firearms not to be Carried Without a License, Simple Assault, Conspiracy to commit Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Coombs has an active warrant and is currently at large.
Alexandra Maria Hidalgo is charged with Attempted Criminal Homicide, Conspiracy to commit Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy to commit Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Conspiracy to commit Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Hidalgo has an active warrant and is currently at large.
Williams Laguerre Derosier is charged with Attempted Criminal Homicide, Conspiracy to commit Criminal Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Conspiracy to commit Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Conspiracy to commit Simple Assault, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person. Derosier was arrested on August 19 and arraigned by District Justice Anzini. Bail was denied, and he is currently being held at the Monroe County Correction Facility.
