The West End Fair returns to Gilbert, celebrating its 100th anniversary.

The West End Fair officially opened on Sunday, August 21, at 2:00 pm. However, the busy opening day kicked off before the doors even opened with Quarter Midget Racing in the main arena at 11:00 am. The 100th Anniversary Parade throughout the fairgrounds began at 2:30 pm, followed by the Opening Ceremony and Queen Crowing at 3:00 pm.

Thousands of guests enjoyed performances, rides, games, and a free firework show at 9:30. And that was just the first day.

What To Expect At The West End Fair

Gates open at 2:00 pm daily. Throughout the week, guests can enjoy performances by Chris Eckert, The Marvelous Mutts dog show, Dean Hahn & The Hawk’s, the Pleasant Valley High School Band, Whey Jennings, Swing Time Dolls, The Cramer Brother’s Band, Cartesian Dance Academy, the Joey Vincent music and comedy Show, and more. In addition, the fair will also host Demolition derbies, truck & Tractor pulling, Livestock Juggling, Kids’ Pedal Pull, and many more attractions, see the full event list here. There will also be a pub open daily, museums, livestock, amusement rides, Agricultural Buildings, Wood Carving shows, Zoo-Much-Fun characters walking around the fairgrounds, and more. Admission Information

Admission is $7.00 for guests 11 years and older and free for guests 10 and under. A free Carousel ride is included with a paid ticket coming through the gate. Main area ticket sale hours include Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, Sunday from 2 pm to 9 pm, Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 10 pm, and Saturday from 2 pm to 9 pm.
