Tee Off For A Cause: PIAC Hosts Golf Tournament In Stroudsburg

Pocono Irish American Clubs Host Golf Event, Fore!

Get your golf gear ready because the Annual Pocono Irish American Club (PIAC) Summer Golf Tournament will be held this Saturday, June 18, at the Glen Brook Golf Club, in Stroudsburg. Eighteen teams of four will compete in the Four Person Scramble. If an individual or team with less than four golfers arrives, they will still be able to participate and will be paired with other golfers to make a team of 4. Event registration begins at 11 AM. The tournament will commence with a Shotgun Start at Noon. Along with the tournament, there will also be two “longest drive contests” and “closest to the pin challenges.” Awards for Course Challenges and raffle winners will be announced during dinner at Mullally’s Clubhouse Cafe.

Registration for this event includes green fees & golf carts as well as dinner and complimentary draft beer at Mullally’s Clubhouse Cafe after the tournament. All proceeds will be used to sponsor the Monroe County Special Olympics and the Kiwanis Club of the Stroudsburgs Playground Project.
