First Ever Poconos Comedy Festival This Weekend

Poconos Comedy Festival is a weekend-long event bringing people together through the power of laughter. This event is a time for celebrating comedy, laughter, and community, so don’t miss out.

The inaugural Poconos Comedy Festival will be a weekend-long event including four showcases and a live podcast recording, according to eventbrite.com. With comedy showcases featuring Festival spot winners and seasoned touring comedians. There will even be a comedy “roast.” You can also purchase alcohol at this event if you are 21 years of age and over. Don’t miss out on laughter, good times, and the first-ever Pocono Comedy Festival in East Stroudsburg, PA.

On Saturday, August 27:

Day Drinking | 2-4 PM | This comedy showcase features Festival spot winners, various acts, and a top Headliner.
Poconos Punch | 5-7 PM | A comedy roast-styled showcase sponsored by Comedy Fight Club will have comedian-on-comedian matchups and celebrity judges to determine who was the funniest.
The Night Cap | 8-10 PM | Festival spot winners, seasoned touring comedians, and a premium Headliner create loads of laughter in this showcase.

On Sunday, August 28

The Festival Digestif | 6-8 PM | The Pocono Comedy Festival received overwhelming comedy act submissions and has since added another Festival showcase. The showcase will feature some of the funniest comedians around.
Locker Room Talk | 2-3:30 PM | Featuring a live recording of the popular podcast “Locker Room Talk.” You can come to Pocono Palace Resort at 206 Fantasy Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA, or listen wherever podcasts are available.
