The Annual Community Health & Wellness fair is coming to the Stroudsburg Seventh-Day Aventis Church this year. The fair includes physical carnival events, sports, and even health seminars to educate the community on how to have better health. So get moving, get your blood pumping and come down to Stroudsburg and have fun.
Stroudsburg, PA | On August 28, 2022, the Health Ministry Dept. of the Stroudsburg Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church will be hosting this year’s Annual Community Health & Wellness Fair, according to Eventbrite. The fair aims to increase community health awareness, promote the prevention of bad health, and provide community outreach. The health fair plans to do this by promoting positive lifestyle behaviors, such as healthy eating habits, physical activity, stress management, spirituality and faith, and more. Blood pressure screenings, diabetic screenings, dental screenings, and other informational booths will be available to the public for free. The informational booths will help the community become aware of local health and wellness resources existing in the community around us.
The Community Health & Wellness Fair Activities Will Include:
- Inflatable rides
- Target throws
- Water balloon toss
- Tug-of-war
- Obstacle course
- Sack races
- Relay races
- Fitness demonstrations
- Sports and fitness drills (basketball, volleyball, soccer)
- Free giveaways
